Report issued to client on March 15, 2012
Purpose: Inspection of 993K Front End Loader for interested third party purchase. This unit is currently located at Ben's Paving in southern Utah, near the town of Moab. From Interstate 70 take exit 112 south for 9 miles, then east at Jewel Road for 2 miles. Ben's Paving is on the North side of Jewel Road. Unit was purchased new for a road project and was used to load haul trucks from stockpiled material. Currently in the companies fenced compound and access granted through the on site office. There are several transport for hire companies in the immediate area that are available for relocation of unit.
Appraisal Method: This is a cold inspection to determine condition and noticeable items requiring repair or replacement. The Shop Forman did start the unit and ran through the transmission gears, (do not consider this a hot or testing of performance inspection). Repair documentation is available and was reviewed with the Shop Foreman, details are within attached report. Estimate value of unit is current private party resale pricing and repairs are estimate of previous experience.
Distribution of report: Three hard copies of report were presented to client, electronic copy previously forwarded to client. A NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) between Rushton International and Jacks Excavating (Client) is in effect.

Comments / Summary
This unit is considered to be in "Good" operating condition, with an estimated value of $965,000.00 as a third party sale, FOB site. Estimated cost of repairs are a visual inspection and should not be considered a quote for services. There are two items of concern. First are articulation bushings (upper and lower) wear is noticable with movement this does not appear to require line boring. Second item is Right Front rim that has a 8" vertical crack on inside of rim, this should be considered a safety item and replaced before operating. Repair and Preventive Maintenance history is Repair and Preventive Maintenance history is available for further review, program in place is above average. Oil samples were not requested by client, unit is on a SOS (Scheduled Oil Sampling) program. Report review indicates normal wear conditions with no flags for immediate action.
Additionaly there are OEM parts available with unit, total of on book cost of mechanical items $4341.95. An offer of $.30 per dollar is in line for restocking charge. Also a stock of OEM electrical parts with a book value of $980.00 are available, (OEM's will not restock electrical parts), $.10 per dollar is normal for purchasing this stock class.
