Who markets Sabre32?

Sabre32 is created and marketed by Rushton International & Associates. Rushton International began as a full-service maintenance consulting firm in 1978, meaning our consultants have been implementing maintenance programs for almost 30 years. Software development and implementation began in the '80s. Our programmers work hand-in-hand with our seasoned maintenance consultants to develop a software system that works in the real world.

How is software support handled? Are knowledgeable, easy-to-reach software support professionals available to answer my questions?

Software experts (most often a programmer or maintenance consultant) can be reached via a toll-free number M-F, 7a.m. to 3 p.m. MST. Online customer service forms are available 24 hours a day, and are promptly answered during business hours. In addition, each client has their own folder available on Rushton International's FTP site, allowing quick updates (self-extracting executables) and easy access to the latest software information.

What operating system does Sabre32 run on?

Windows XP is highly recommended, however, Sabre32 can be run on Windows 2000 SP4 or above.

What type of database does Sabre32 utilize?

Sabre32 uses Sybase SQL Anywhere Studio 9. The SQL Anywhere Studio 9 database runs on Server 2000 or above, or Novell.

Is Sabre32 customizable?

Yes! Rushton International always works with clients one-on-one to ensure that each Sabre32 package meets their exact needs. In addition, Sabre32 can be customized in the following ways:

How is security handled in Sabre32?

Sabre32's security options allow administrators to control access to program information on a user-by-user and module-by-module basis. A username and password are required to login to the program. Once signed in, a user is only allowed to use the areas of Sabre32 he has been granted rights to. "View only," "Add," "Delete" and "All" rights are available. Rights can be assigned to individuals or entire groups (i.e. accountants, operators, administrators, etc.)

What reporting capabilities does the software have?

Sabre32 can meet any problem solving and reporting need. The program comes with dozens of custom Crystal Reports to help management analyze and track equipment, employees, performance, work orders, consumables, warranties, maintenance, production, inventory, purchasing, costs, etc. With custom reports, the user is able to modify existing reports, create new reports and set limits/parameters for existing reports. As an added bonus, Rushton International creates five custom reports exactly as the user wants them upon purchase.

How many pieces of equipment can Sabre32 handle?

There is virtually no limit to the number of assets/work orders/records Sabre32 can handle.

Physical limitations of the Sybase database are displayed below:

Is Sabre32 designed for a particular industry?

Sabre32 was originally designed for the mining industry and was written by mine maintenance experts. However, Sabre32 is effective and suitable for any industry/company with fleet or plant maintenance needs.

Is Sabre32 easy to use?

Sabre32 was designed to be as intuitive as possible. Complete training at installation is available to make the learning process even simpler for novices, and Rushton International is always willing to answer questions. In addition, each module contains a HELP button, which connects the user to step-by-step help files. Drop-down boxes, automated fields and quick insert buttons also simplify data entry.

What about pricing?

Pricing depends on the package purchased and the number of users licensed.

Although a basic pricing structure does exist for each Sabre32 package, Rushton International believes in working with each client individually to meet their specific feature and pricing requirements. A number of financing options are also available.
